FirstThursday Seattle is honored to share these pictorial highlights from its June 7 2012, Town Hall style meeting that featured the Seattle Regional Commissioner of Social Security, Stanley Friendship.
More than 50 FTS members and friends attended the Noon meeting where Rev. George Davenport. Pastor, Peoples Institutional Baptist Church provided the Invocation and Benediction. Several members of PIBC members also attended the meeting including the guest speaker, Deacon Stanley Friendship. Friendship is only the second African American to hold his position during the 77 year history of Social Security Administration’s Western Region.
