FirstThursday Seattle Presents OCTVOTERFEST XIII 2PM Sunday October 6

OCTOVOTERFEST XIII is co-Hosted by the Rainier Chamber and FirstThursday Seattle. “The opportunity to co-host these debates in the heart of South East Seattle was to good to pass up,” stated Larry Williams, Founder, FirstThursday Biz Seattle. “It confirms our Leadership Team’s commitment to not only advocate for Black business but for the total community.”
There will be three separate debtes highlighted by the debate between the candidates for the opportunity to become the next Mayor of the Emerald City, Seattle.
The Candidate debates will be as follows:

2:00-3:00: Doors Open for Exhibit Hall & Voter Registration
3:00-3:45: School Board: Sue Peters vs. Suzanne Dale Estey
4:00-4:45: City Council: Mike O’Brien vs. Albert Shen
5:00- 6:00: Mayoral: Mike McGinn vs. Ed Murray

Just in case we have individuals who are not yet registered to VOTE, there will be Voter Registrar’s there to get you all registered for November 2013.

In order to make sure that the tough questions are asked, we have assembled an outstanding group of moderators for each debate.
